With deep roots stretching back five generations in Fort Scott, firm founder Chad Cosens chose to name his firm 1842 Wealth Management as a tribute to the year his hometown was established as a U.S. Military Base. He has been serving clients through his financial advisory practice for the last 12 years.

Outside of work, Chad is devoted to his wife Jayci and their 2 sons - Dryden & Cal. He enjoys watching his boys plays sports, golfing, and spending time in the mountains whenever he can.
